My Voice as a Youth

Nigeria, my Country and my Pride

Tears rolls off my face when I remember how treacherous the expected leaders are 

Here is my say, Here comes my voice.

How wonderful God had blessed this Nation, Nigeria

Yet, the masses are considered not a factor in the blessings thereof.

It's a shame when the banks is dried even beside the ocean

Isn't there a flow? No! There haven't been any circulation.

Young men with full passion despite the aforeknowledge of the brutality in the warfront,

Who takes up the emblem of courage to fight for their fatherland

Unfortunately, many died a hero for the Nation while the people of the saviours are dieng day by day of insecurity, hunger, oppression and many other drastic means as a result of bad governance.


The engine room of the country nurtures the fishes of rulers.

They continually grows without any thought of as many onboard.

Their access to the body of water has kept them big, yet the ship is not moving forward

Later they swim into the body of water and locate the speeding yachts.

How long shall the growth of the society be limited to those in power?

In a circle of leadership they move and the 'Godfathers' takes the glory to another man's land yet the Nation is not developing.


Is there any Coat for our Arms?

What strength has the eagle now and what dignity has the horses?

Is the fertility of our green land not a source of income for the old lads alone?

Where is the Unity, where is the Love.

Show me the Peace and show me the Progress.

"I took up the zeal to serve my Country, not relenting. I love my country and I act the pledge. Day-to-day, I render my service unto God and unto humanity. Of course, I know that this zeal is the joy of many. Thousands of youths are carriers of this dignity. Yet, the situations and condition of our pride and our country, Nigeria, is enough to kill the Norah and the leadership spirit of us all and all these is as a result of bad governance.

A call for unity and love, peace and progress to receive our strength, dignity, fertility and growth.

I stand as a Youth and call for good governance.

Our blood and minds calls for an end to  life insecurity and all forms of brutality over the citizens.

We are Youth, We are the Voice of the Nation. We stand for the development of our Nation.

ONE YOUTH! ONE VOICE! ONE NATION!

 The Seminar was presented by Rtn Dr Peluola Titiloye on the 6th September, 2020. It was graced by members of the club, Potential members invited, Rotaractors, Potential Rotakids and visiting Rotarians; Rtn Muyiwa Fadairo (Past District Rotaract Rep). ROTARY CLUB OF IJEBU ODE, DISTRICT 9110 NIGERIA : TREE PLANTING PROJECT@OSCOTECH ILESE IJEBU- ODE ,OGUN STATE

The tree planting project of our esteemed club in conjunction with the Roteract club OSCOHTECH, Ijebu-Ode and Ijebu-Ife was done on the 24th of July, 2020 at the Ogun State College of Health Technology (OSCOHTECH), Ilese, Ogun State. The program was well attended by members of the club and staff and students of OSCOHTECH. The program started with an opening remarks by the IPP Rtn Olusesi Lukman by 10:22am. Mrs. Oyefeso Abimbola who represented the Registrar who was on state assignment in Abeokuta thereafer welcomed members of the club to OSCOHTECH. She also appreciated the club for choosing the school as one of the beneficiaries of the project. After introduction and familiarization of club members and Staff of OSCOHTECH. present, the sites for the planting of the trees were marked on the school premises, a total of forty five (45 ) trees were planted by the club members and Staff of OSCOHTECH.
