Meet 26-year-old professional cobbler who became a graduate through vocational job

"Where determination is predominant, failure cannot dismantle the flag of success." This statement aptly describes the tenacity that made the 26-year-old professional cobbler, Mustapha Mufeed Adeola, become a graduate against all odds.
Son Of KAIVA's regional reporter in Oyo, Oshin Idowu reports that the 26-year-old man who hails from Lawoya compound, Gbonje Okeho in Kajola local government area of Oyo state, is now a graduate of Biology education from Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger state.
Adeola who said the attainment of his higher education became possible through the shoe-making business, noted that he was grateful to God who made his dream of becoming a graduate possible.
In an exclusive chat with Son Of KAIVA at his workshop in Okeho, Adeola said his long-awaited dream of acquiring sound and qualitative education was made possible as a result of his determination, focus and spiritual ability to wrestle all challenges and obstacles that seemed to hinder its possibility.
The fresh graduate who is currently serving his fatherland at Kunike International School, Osogbo, the capital of Osun state, said he had his BTech in Biology education in 2018, mobilised for the national assignment in March 2019 and he is expected to round off in February 2020.

Adeola said there was no doubt that the attainment of his first degree in education became a reality through the hard-earned money he realised from the shoe-making business, adding that it was not easy but he was grateful to God who granted his request via the business. He added that while he was in school, he got many accolades and encomiums from colleagues and most importantly from his late lecturer, Prof IN Mogbo who showered an encomium on him, sequel to his display of good works while undergoing entrepreneurship.
Adeola noted that he usually returns to shop whenever he comes from his place of national primary assignment and ensures he makes perfect sandals and shoes to his customers with no complaints. He said he was grateful to his boss, Ganiyu Lawoya, who taught him the professional methods of making sandals, shoes, belts and others respectively. He said he would invest in the business immediately after the completion of his national clarion call.
