- There are plans to launch a community police outfit in Kano state, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has said
- The governor said the launch of the outfit will help build the security situation in the state
- Ganduje also said that he has forgiven all his political opponent since the judgement of the Supreme Court that upheld his election as governor of Kano state
The Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, on Monday, January 20, said the state government like the south west region will soon launch its community police outfit in Kano.

Ganduje said his administration plans to launch the outfit operation to help build the security situation in the state. While addressing some of his supporters after the Supreme Court upheld his emergence as governor of Kano state called on Kano residents to support the project when it is established.

He said: “We are going to launch community policing very soon in Kano. Security is for the people of Kano at are and we call on everyone to cooperate."
