Kizz Daniel: Art in the blood

If music is generally perceived as the most universal of all art forms then I will conclude in my own opinion that Kizz Daniel's unique musical talent and the outstanding art work of his late father makes them the fulness of art.

His creativity and uniqueness might have been as influenced by the distinctive style of his dad's art creation.

Late Kolawole Uthman Anidugbe - who studied Art up to a remarkable extent both at home and abroad and who was a well known and an icon in his dynamic field upto the point he became the manager of one of the best tourist center (Olumo Rock in Ogun State, Nigeria) - did not only made amazing ink paintings and others in his  different place of work and service but he dynamically decorated his house in Taiwo Street, Eleweran, Abeokuta, Ogun State. Right from outside, there is two moulded man head mounted on either pole of the entrance gate. The compound is as well littered with graven art works even to the interior part of the house which looks like a mini museum.

"I am an artist, a painter and a painting lecturer. I use oil colour and drawing ink. I have participated in a number of group exhibition and held solo exhibitions home and abroad. I operate an art gallery located in one of the most popular tourist centres in Nigeria (Olumo Rock tourist centre, Abk). My art gallery has a number of collections, including my own efforts in drawing ink technique. I like meeting people,making new friends." says Late Kolawole Uthman Anidugbe

Late Mr. Anidugbe Uthman Kolawole (HND, B Ed, M. Art Education) who was a lover of fruits had a calm look and gentle personality which is fully transferred into his first son, Tobiloba (Kizz Daniel). Bro Tobi as his siblings (Foluto, Moses, Praise, Timi) and other neighboring brothers (Taiwo and Kehinde Cent Colly Oshin with their younger brother -Francis Idowu and others ) usually call him, is known also with this gentleness. With his gifted voice, he comes up to the pent house of their house to sing. It been a while indeed, gone are those days of ".....so le sondoko, eh ehn, eh ehn, can't you see am into you o, eh ehn...." Kizz Daniel has tremendously erupted to one of the face of this nation as far as music is concerned. He is gradually gaining his international recognition as he rocks his music career in and out of Nigeria.

Creativity, I would say, should be the motto of the Uthman's. Where the dad's creativity ended, there the son's, Kizz Daniel, started. Art in the blood!!!
