ROTARY CLUB OF IJEBU ODE, DISTRICT 9110 NIGERIA : TREE PLANTING PROJECT@OSCOTECH ILESE IJEBU- ODE ,OGUN STATE

The tree planting project of our esteemed club in conjunction with the Roteract club OSCOHTECH, Ijebu-Ode and Ijebu-Ife was done on the 24th of July, 2020 at the Ogun State College of Health Technology (OSCOHTECH), Ilese, Ogun State. The program was well attended by members of the club and staff and students of OSCOHTECH. The program started with an opening remarks by the IPP Rtn Olusesi Lukman by 10:22am. Mrs. Oyefeso Abimbola who represented the Registrar who was on state assignment in Abeokuta thereafer welcomed members of the club to OSCOHTECH. She also appreciated the club for choosing the school as one of the beneficiaries of the project. After introduction and familiarization of club members and Staff of OSCOHTECH. present, the sites for the planting of the trees were marked on the school premises, a total of forty five (45 ) trees were planted by the club members and Staff of OSCOHTECH. ROTARY CLUB OF OBANTOKO: DONATION TO ADULT EDUCATION CENTER

The president and members of the club visited Adatan Literacy Center (Adult Education Center) to sensitized and encouraged the learners on the importance of Education in their respective businesses and community at large. The club was received by the Center Co-ordinator (Mr Omitoogun), the Head teacher of the school been used and the learners who could not hide their joy. The club was led by the President (Rtn Easy Adeniran), President-Elect (Rtn Olaoluwa Badiru, Rtn. Dr. Peluola Titiloye (Chairman of the Project), Rtn Adebukola Adeniran, Rotr. Iseoluwa Kuyoro. ROTARY CLUB OF OBANTOKO SEMINAR: LITERACY AND GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT

 The Seminar was presented by Rtn Dr Peluola Titiloye on the 6th September, 2020. It was graced by members of the club, Potential members invited, Rotaractors, Potential Rotakids and visiting Rotarians; Rtn Muyiwa Fadairo (Past District Rotaract Rep). The Speaker spoke on "Literacy and Global Development" He spoke on the definition and importance of Literacy in the society, it's importance in global development and how Rotary can contribute more in this regard. ROTARY OBANTOKO: FREE 3-MONTH MUSICAL INSTRUMENT TRAINING

  The Club in conjunction with Lekson Music World started a free 3-month musical training for the residents of Gideon Orphanage Home, Asero. The training started on Tuesday 15th September, 2020 where the children will be taught on how to play musical instruments like piano, saxophone, clarinet, guitar, violin and so on.The team was led by the president (Rtn Easy Adeniran) and chair,  Service Project (PP Omolara Kuyoro). The best student will be presented with a musical instrument of his/her choice. Below are pictures taken during the training:
